A Go-To Guy: Howard has managed to avoid many of the more dangerous aspects of Foundation life by being that guy who gets things done. Working as Director ████'s personal assistant for six very long years, Howard knows the ins and outs, how-to-do's, and the where-to-go's.
Addendum 2-B: Notable Character Flaws
"Really nice guy": Howard is where he is for a reason. Being a perpetual friend-zone dweller and technologically excellent, he was plucked from MIT without much of a chance to not be a tragic nerd. As such, he's funny, kinda awkward, and is generally inclined toward the internet and 'gamer' sub-cultures.
Good, but not -that- good: Howard is a versatile, talented, and very helpful man. However, he just doesn't possess the skills needed to be a vital role in the Foundation. If for some reason is at one point not needed as an assistant, he may not be needed for much else. Howard is very expendable.
Addendum 3-A: Personnel History
Howard Dunden was taken by the Foundation's "Select Youth" operation, which selects various up and coming young minds from various institutions. Being a skilled programmer without friends or family, living alone off of inheritance money, Howard was a prime candidate, and the Foundation took him in as a computer analyst.
Howard is fluent in English, Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese, and Arabic.
Howard Dunden was transferred to Site 23 after a site incident involving [EXPUNGED] and is currently positioned as Director Erdrich's personal assistant.
